I recently purchased the first season of Home Improvement on iTunes. Watching some before work today… this show really takes me back to my childhood. Tim and Jill remind me a lot of my parents. I love this show! xD

I’m really hungry. I hate it when I’m really hungry, and I have to wait for the oven to preheat, and then wait for the food to cook, because it feels like I’m going to die in the meantime. I really hate it. But instead of dying, I will endeavor to paint. I’m either going to keep working on my Doctor Who series, or I’m going to go crazy and paint Sam and Dean from Supernatural.

I’m working on the next painting in my series of portraits of the Doctor (of BBC’s Doctor Who). Yay!

Although its arguably uneventful for a Friday night, I’m about to slice up the DiGiorno cheesy-stuffed-crust and snuggle up with Bob on the sofa for an evening of pizza and Supernatural. We’re about halfway through season 2. (It’s his first time watching the series; my third or fourth.)

“I’m going to go crazy. And I’m taking you with me.”

So, I’m in the living room writing this post on my iPad as Bob and I watch Stargate SG-1. I got the WordPress app for just such an occasion as this. I promised myself I would try to post at least once a day, but with our schedules being what they are now that we both work full time, I didn’t want to miss out on time spent with my man.
Over the last couple of months, I’ve been introducing Bob to my personal favorite science fiction franchise because he had never seen any of the shows. We started with the movie, of course, and then transitioned into SG-1. As of a few weeks ago, shortly after moving into the new place, we finished seasons 7 and 8 and started watching Atlantis along side. We’re almost done with season 9 of SG-1 and ready to start season 3 of Atlantis. What’s funny is that, despite owning both shows on DVD in box sets, we’ve been watching it on Amazon Prime because its easier than having to get up and switch out the discs.
I will probably update this post later once I’m at a computer, where I can more easily get into the topic of our ongoing Stargate marathon with a real keyboard. But I at least wanted to keep my promise to myself about my frequency of posting.
