I have been a computer enthusiast for most of my life, and knowing computers is my bread and butter at the moment.  Because computers are one of my favorite passions, and because I think everyone should know more about the technology we use today, I’ve decided to start writing a series of posts that will share my expertise and advice.  To kick of the series, I thought I should begin with the most important step of your relationship with your computer:  Picking the right one!

iPhone in the Toilet

Today began as any other day this week, really.  I woke up a few times during the night either too hot or too cold, and then unwillingly got up in time to take a shower, get dressed and eat breakfast, all the while battling my body because I’ve got a sinus cold. I drove to work while on a hands-free call with Bob — it’s our daily ritual.

Once I got to work, I fired up the computer and checked my phone to find out that I received my paycheck in the wrong account and used my bank’s iPhone app to transfer it to the right place.  On my break, I called Bob to check in and checked Facebook on my phone.  And after my break, Bob and I got into a texting flow that didn’t interrupt my work flow.  All the while, because my boss is awesome enough to go as far as encourage this behavior, I was listening to My Chemical Romance via my iPhone.

It was an ordinary day, by any means.  How could I have known that I would end up dropping my phone in the toilet before the day was done?
